EICC: An environment to inspire, ideas that change the world

At the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) we are passionate about creating the perfect events environment which inspires delegates to network and for creativity to flow. Every day incredible things happen at events in our venue. Ideas are exchanged. Connections are made. People are inspired. And the world might be changed, even just a little bit. Being part of that inspiration is what makes us tick.

Our venue is brimming with exciting innovation and facilities, which provide endless possibilities for your event. It is the ideal space for conferences and events, boasting an impressive series of adaptable auditoria, suites and spacious reception areas including:

  • The Pentland Suite – a raked auditorium for 1,200 delegates which offers great flexibility by revolving into three separate auditoria, of 600, 300 and 300 seats, in under four minutes
  • The Lennox Suite – a unique space featuring moving-floor technology which allows it to transform into a raked theatre for 2,000 delegates, an arena for 1,400 spectators or tiered cabaret for 750 guests
  • The Cromdale Hall – which provides 1,185m2 of exhibition space, or it can be set for a stunning banquet for up to 850 guests
  • The Strathblane Hall and Atrium – two light and spacious reception areas which can be used together or separately

We are located right in the centre of one of the world’s most beautiful, historic and stirring cities. And being a compact city means that delegates to the EICC are in close walking distance from Edinburgh’s many excellent hotels, restaurants, shops and attractions, including the world-renowned Edinburgh Castle.

Edinburgh Airport is just 10km away from the EICC and can be reached directly from more than 100 worldwide destinations. For those travelling by rail, Edinburgh’s two major railway stations, Waverley and Haymarket, are serviced by a frequent rail network, including the regular 4-hour service between Edinburgh and London.
