Within the MTC campus we have the Lloyds Bank Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre (AMTC) that trains apprentices and engineers to use tomorrow’s technology productively. We use income generated through our events to fund new equipment and facilities to support the training of our apprentices, giving young engineers the chance to build a career in an exciting, thriving and innovative environment.
We continue to build on our full service solution offering additional service support such as transportation, hotel bedrooms, ticketing and marketing support. Our exclusive use offering is becoming increasingly popular and, with the installation of new digital signage, customers can take over the venue in its entirety and make a real impression with delegates. This, combined with our world-class catering, makes the MTC a premier venue to host your next event and provide your delegates with an unforgettable experience.
Our event spaces combine the MTC’s reputation for world-leading manufacturing with the highest quality meeting facilities, providing flexible spaces capable of hosting events for up to 350 delegates including; small team meetings, workshops and training events up to large scale product launches and exclusive use for hundreds of attendees. All our event spaces include the very latest screen technology, free Wi-Fi, free parking and onsite support from our events team ensuring all your needs are catered for.
I joined MTC Events in January 2019 as Business Development Manager for Corporate Events and I absolutely love it! We have such a fantastic venue and a wonderful team that are dedicated to delivering the highest level of customer service.
Previous to joining MTC Events I worked for Macdonald Hotels & Resorts for over 9 years, during this time I was the Wedding & Events Coordinator and then progressed in to the role of Conference & Events Sales Office Manager which I did for just under 6 years.
Based on my events and hospitality experience I have a wealth of knowledge on all types of events including corporate events such as conferences, exhibitions, product launches, automotive events and gala dinners. Coming from a hotel background I also have knowledge of the private events sector, group accommodation and transient business.
