The Vale Resort has a close association with sport being home to the Wales national rugby and football teams and training venue for Cardiff City and Cardiff Blues. The Vale Resort was also a proud team bases for the Rugby World Cup 2015.
Situated on the grounds of the Vale Resort is the 17th century Hensol Castle. This magnificent Grade I listed venue is steeped in history yet delivers the latest technology through state-of-the-art multimedia facilities. Few event and conference venues make a grander first impression than those at Hensol Castle. Set in 650 acres of picture perfect countryside in the Vale of Glamorgan, Hensol Castle has retained its breath-taking 17th century features – including turrets, gothic towers and feature staircases. Don’t be fooled by its historical appearance though. During the £10 million restoration project, plenty of warmth was injected and a few 21st century touches were added to bring it bang up-to-date – we’re talking state-of-the-art multimedia systems for conferences and events. Hensol Castle now hosts a new Courtyard Hall which accommodates up to 200 guests for a dinner and 300 for a theatre style conference. This is complimented by five smaller conference rooms in the castle itself that can host between 10-90 delegates per room theatre-style. The Castle is available for exclusive hire to ensure your event is private and dedicated entirely to you and your guests.

With over 10 years’ experience working at the Vale Resort, I am now the main point of contact for all 3rd party companies. My main objectives are building relationships with key decision makers and increasing brand awareness on a national and international stage. It is also my responsibility to manage any sports teams that visit for overnights stays or international training camps.
